- The basic idea: people can share their predictions on trending events and topics (like “Who’ll win US Elections?”) and see an average of what the world predicts.
- It’s kind of like surveys. Huge sums of data makes predictions be nearer accurate.
- The main reason Facebook is doing this is obviously advertising. If this goes widespread people and millions of people throw in their predictions, Facebook will have direct access to this data and that’s exactly why you can only sign in with Facebook.
